When Michelle came to me to discuss working together, she had just completed a business course she had thought would make her feel clearer about how to grow her eight-year-old coaching and consulting business. She was still foggy about how to communicate the disparate services she offered under one cohesive umbrella, but she was clear that it was time to move her website from Weebly to Squarespace so that she could implement some of the steps and marketing techniques she had just learned.
We worked together on everything from tightening up her basic messaging, identifying who her ideal clients actually were, rethinking her signature offers, and telling her story so that what made her unique came across clearly on her site. We planned and co-wrote her copy, and then I got busy building her site.
Michelle wanted the site to reflect the fact that her daily practices of gardening and yoga influenced her work, and she wanted it to convey a bit more of a sense of playful fun, without getting too flashy, cluttered or bright.
We used Michelle’s love for the rugged coastline and beautiful outdoors around her adopted home of Portland, Oregon as inspiration for the site’s mood and color scheme.
Together, we worked on Michelle’s messaging, copy, visual brand, and website design.
